We are now at 70 days of 100+ heat, and I have been working on several images of Lake Travis, Austin TX area for a commission. I wanted my collector to have a choice of several images. Lake Travis is now 30 feet below "normal" due to the ongoing drought in Texas. I have had fun imagining the lake full again and have taken a bit o artistic license with color, although the Texas sunsets are not too far from my imagination. The new lake paintings will be shown at Austin Art Space Gallery in Sept. 2011. HAPPY PAINTING TO ALL!
