"Edge of Evening" 5 hours of painting bliss

I began applying my gesso mixture to my 36 x 48 x 2.5 image entitled "Edge of Evening" at 8AM and finished at 1PM.  This time I got the ratios right so the application was managable but spontaneous.  Using an indirect application process I painted wet into wet and allowed the gesso to float around on its own, then applied various textures as the solution dried up on the canvas surface.  Next up, the addition of pigments.  I am using Chroma Interactives.  I love the versatility of the product, in conjunction with other product lines.  Hope you enjoy the process with me.  The finished work will be shown at Austin Art Space Gallery and Studios in Austin TX, where I am a resident. Happy Painting!
