Get carried away!

When I first posted the rough in of "Red Oak Winter" (48 x 36 x 2.5" acrylic) an artist friend of mine cautioned me not " to get carried away"...I started thinking about what it means to get carried away and I came up with some whimsical and amusing thoughts.
I decided that getting carried away, if by the right person, feeling, or inspiration is good. At any rate, I had been told this same thing by others as a child, and I felt my inner artist rebel.
I wanted to add a hint of light at the edges in this painting, but I find doing detail work with a small brush too tedious for me.  I was going for emotional content rather than photo realism so I used a pipette and painted with abandon...creating an accent line by blotting off some of each application.  With the music cranked up I got carried away and finished the detail in 2.5 hours.  Let me know what you think. Meanwhile, my hope for all artists is that we get carried away with abandon by creative energy and inspiration.
