It began at studio2gallery in August, 2010
where I was the featured artist with a series of Aspen Images garnered from a trip to my home state of Colorado in July. During this trip home, my brother, singer song writer, Bob Rea, drove me up into the high country above Pagosa Springs, CO, and patiently waited while I wandered the Aspen forest with a sketchbook and camera.

In early Oct. I made another trip to Colorado, this time to RMNP, in route to Golden, CO for my niece's wedding. Before I left I gessoed 10, 12 x 12 canvases for the upcoming 6th Annual Juried Show12buy12 at Austin Art Space Gallery, where I am a resident artist. My collaborative artist, Channe Felton, and I got to work immediately after my return from Colorado. Here are images of finished work... winning work can be viewed at the Austin Art Space Gallery preview. Here's to collaboration, inspiration, and completion!
